Heineken Club of The Future

"The Club" is the first part of Heineken’s one year long design initiative Open Design Explorations and has been showcased during the Milan Design Fair 2012.

Nocte collaborated with Minivegas and Artisan to develop two interactive bars for Heineken’s “Club of the Future” and was responsible for the implementation of the visuals interacting with the audience using the framework d3 developed by d3technologies.

The interactive bar surface engages with the customer and turns the act of ordering or simply waiting for a drink into an extraordinary and playful visual experience.

Both bars are made of four sections that are seamlessly joined together. Each of those sections comprises one projector, two cameras and two infrared spotlights that light the scene from inside.

This solution was designed by Artisan to recognise, track and distinguish between different objects on the bar surface and build different layers of interaction with the audience.
