Nocte worked on the Massive Attack 2014 and 2016 Tour to create some of the d3 modules and visual effects used by United Visual Artists as the foundations for the show.
The Massive Attack live performances are characterised by the use of politically charged content. Video, images and text were updated on a daily basis and meticulously crafted to reflect recent events and local news.
Nocte developed the bespoke d3 modules to import, animate and sync the text with the music. As part of the deliverables, Nocte also worked on other real-time visual effects such as video glitches, image and video grid distribution.
